Diagnostics
Examinations
University-hospital grade cardiac equipment is kept on site. You do not need to travel elsewhere to be examined — the test, its interpretation and the explanation happen in the same room.
Cardiac tests
Tests are selected according to your symptoms and risk factors. We do not run the whole panel by default.
ECG
The basic test for arrhythmia and myocardial ischaemia.
Echocardiography
Direct observation of left ventricular function, valve condition and the pericardium.
Stress test
For symptoms that appear only on exertion while the resting study is normal.
Carotid Doppler
Intima-media thickness and atherosclerosis measured to estimate stroke risk.
Holter monitoring
24-hour ECG. Intermittent arrhythmia rarely appears during a short visit, so the rhythm is recorded across a full day.
24-hour blood pressure
Repeated measurement over a day, distinguishing white-coat hypertension and abnormal night-time pressure.
Tests are selected according to your symptoms and risk factors. Call 031-718-8275 to ask what can be arranged and how long it takes.
Ultrasound
No radiation, no pain, and performed by the doctor watching the screen directly.
Echocardiography
Left ventricular function, valve condition and the pericardium, observed directly.
Carotid Doppler
Intima-media thickness and atherosclerosis, used to estimate stroke risk.
Thyroid ultrasound
Nodules, size and structural changes, interpreted alongside hormone levels.
Chest symptoms should not wait
Chest pain and palpitations need to be traced to a cause. Call us and we will tell you which tests are possible and how long they take.
